What is Redeem TV?

RedeemTV is a streaming service available worldwide. Our goal is to provide uplifting and Christ-centered content for all ages. We offer an ever-growing library of inspirational and family-friendly dramas, documentaries, animated features, children’s favorites, episodic series, and more, with new titles added weekly. RedeemTV is the latest effort of Vision Video, which has been a leader in producing and distributing Christian media content for over five decades.

Our Story

We were founded by Ken Curtis as Gateway Films in the early 1970s with the purpose of distributing 16mm faith-based movies to churches. Vision Video was launched in the early 1980s with the advent of home-consumer video. In recent years, streaming has become a major part of our distribution efforts. Through all the technological changes, our mission has remained consistent: to produce and distribute quality visual media that communicates the Gospel in engaging and accessible ways to contemporary audiences.

To continue reaching a worldwide audience with the message of the Gospel, we believed it was time to offer our own state-of-the-art streaming platform. Our hope is that RedeemTV, which was launched in early 2020, will bless global communities with stories of truth, hope, and faith for generations to come.

How are you able to give all this away for free?

We are able to offer the vast majority of our content with no membership or pay-per-view fees, and no ads, because of donations by generous viewers like you! RedeemTV is reliant on viewers to support this ministry. In 2019, Vision Video became a ministry of the non-profit Christian History Institute. As a branch of CHI, RedeemTV is able to accept tax-deductible donations.
